Beneath A Cobalt Sky | 2 Feb-27 Feb | Beerwah Library

Created en plein air in the East MacDonnell Ranges, these paintings carry the grit, heat and movement of the Central Australian landscape. Wind-blown sand and crawling insects became part of the process as each work was made in dry riverbeds beneath cobalt skies. The surfaces hold traces of that moment in country – a direct, tactile record of presence, place and the ancient forces that shape this land.
