As a musician and event coordinator for 45 years, Steve McLeish has long been interested in exploring visual art and sculpture. In 2022 he began learning new creative techniques, setting aside his saxophone and picking up a pencil.
Steve’s artworks often begin with a simple line, curve or mark. From there, shapes and textures develop as the piece takes form. He describes his process as a blend of sound and light, guided by the rhythm of pencil on paper as each image emerges.
Steve encourages viewers to interpret the works in their own way and connect with the elements that speak to them.
