Embark on a journey of bold creativity, making and paper play as you help shape Radical Hope Machine 2, part of Horizon Festival 2026.
Join artist Sarah Winters to imagine, sketch and design new cardboard creations inspired by stories from the Radical Hope Machine emerging writers’ workshops. Everyone is welcome. No experience needed – just curiosity and a willingness to explore.
Every design created during this drop‑in session will be transformed into larger‑than‑life sculptural elements for the final installation.
Free. Registration not required. Ages 16 and over.

About Sarah Winter
Sarah Winter is a designer, installation artist and maker. She has designed for local, national and international audiences creating immersive spaces, site designs and sets. Recently she worked with Punchdrunk Enrichment (UK) and Imaginary Theatre (Aus) on the Lost Lending Library for The Commonwealth Games.
