Visit the Caloundra Regional Gallery for the Contemporary Songlines exhibition: 21 Jun to 18 Aug 2024. This year-long collaborative First Nations student/youth and women’s exhibition showcases our First Nations regional artists’ collective stories and culture.

See South Sea Islander and Iman woman, Chloe Watego’s Pastel Era exhibition at Maroochydore Library. Pastel Era is a collection of artworks Chloe has created while reflecting back on her connection to the Sunshine Coast.

First Nations Cards

Join online and visit your local library during NAIDOC Week to collect your limited edition First Nations library card. The cards feature artwork by Kabi Kabi artists, Kane Brunjes and Amanda Pitt-Lythgoe.

Have a fun filled day in Muller Park

Bli Bli’s Muller Park has a long history as a place to meet, gather and feast for First Nations peoples.

The large park features a shaded indigenous themed playground and games trail, basketball half court, picnic shelters with barbeque facilities, open grassed area and skate park.

Learn about the traditional games that were played by indigenous children in many different areas around Australia with the Biwathin games trail. The word Biwathin (Bee-wad-jin) comes from the Kabi Kabi language of the Sunshine Coast meaning ‘to laugh’.
