Weathered Sheds of the Northern Rivers

Photography through Big River Way | 24 Feb to 5 Apr | Nambour Library

Millie Mae, a Buderim-based photographer, tells stories through cinematic and documentary style photography. Her work encompasses interiors, people, places, and digital art.

Her latest work, "Weathered Sheds of the Northern Rivers," is a collaborative project with conceptualizer Mike McGowan. Inspired by Mike's vision, Millie's photographs reveal hidden treasures along the scenic Big River Way in NSW, the former Pacific Highway. These images capture the character and stories etched into the aging timbers and rust of these sheds by time and the elements, offering a visual tribute to the resilience of the Northern Rivers landscape and the beauty of its byways.
