Macramé by Violet Rose

Violet’s macramé journey began over 50 years ago as an art student at university. She created many very large macramé wall hangings and pot hangings for business foyers and upmarket clients. This was the 'old style' macramé using natural jute. 

Once she became a teacher, she didn't really do much macramé, until about 5 years ago. The new modern Boho style really appealed to Vi and ignited her passion for macramé once again. Her pieces are from her own ideas and as such are 'one only.' 

Violet loves designing and creating unique pieces. Most of all, she gets great satisfaction teaching others the craft and keeping this art alive. All her classes make full size items, something the attendees are proud to hang in their home or as a special gift.
