Stitch and mend together
Skill sharing workshop series | 29 Jan-12 Mar | 3 sessions

The fashion industry creates a lot of waste - but you can help. Instead of throwing clothes away, learn how to mend and give them new life. Join us for a fun, hands-on workshop with the Second Stitch Collective. Bring your own mending projects or start something new. Learn simple hand stitching techniques, a sewing machine available if needed. You’ll get guidance, support and a DIY mending kit to take home. No sewing experience needed - everyone is welcome!
Bring any extra fabric you’d like to use, an item that requires mending and a water bottle. Wear closed in shoes.
All materials provided.
$20 per person. Registration essential. Ages 15 and over.
No refunds unless Libraries cancels the event.
