Textural Designs

Lyn Sanderson’s work is designed to provoke interest in the art of lifting texture. Some of the images are lifted off iron fences in cemeteries and various other surfaces. 

These rubbings are made using a charcoal or graphite powder mixed with oil to make a paste rather than the traditional hard rubbing stick that is more commonly used.
