Gratitude

Summers is a Sunshine Coast-based artist who recently graduated with distinction with a Bachelor of Fine Arts  from the Queensland University of Technology. Her practice depicts aspects of daily life informed by gratitude developed through reflective practice. She hopes to prompt viewers to feel gratitude for the multitude of special but mundane moments in life. The artist connects with her audience using an interdisciplinary practice of painting, poetry, photography, interactive works and digital media. Summers utilises an intersectional feminist lens and conceptual art to contextualise her practice. She hopes to interact with her audience through shared moments mediated by art.
