Caloundra Potters
Featuring one of Caloundra Art Centre’s vibrant art groups | 1 Oct-31 Oct | Kawana Library

View works from the Caloundra Potters—one of many vibrant art groups based at the Caloundra Art Centre. This welcoming community of creatives offers a supportive environment for self-guided potters of all skill levels and interests to enjoy working with clay. Members explore a wide range of techniques including wheel throwing, hand building, slip casting, and glazing.
The group has access to three kilns—two electric and one gas—as well as a small lustre kiln, providing plenty of opportunity for experimentation and skill development.
In 2025, Caloundra Potters proudly celebrates its 50th anniversary! With over 60 members, the group participates in two annual fairs at the Caloundra Art Centre, showcasing and selling their work. Selected pieces are also available year-round in the centre’s gift shop.
New members are welcomed twice a year, in February and July, depending on capacity.
