Got a favourite clothing item in need of repair? Visit a library Sewing Station where clothing revivalist Shaye Hardisty will demonstrate simple repairs, mending techniques and creative patching methods to help extend the life of your clothes. Participate in a guided repair or learn new skills and leave with the confidence to continue mending at home.
This sustainable clothing workshop promotes reduction through repair and is proudly supported by Sunshine Coast Council’s Waste Education Program.
Suitable for beginners. Ages 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult.
One item per person. Complex repairs, zipper replacements and alterations not available.
