Composting Awareness Week
International Compost Awareness Week (ICAW) in Queensland runs from 3 – 9 May 2026.
The worldwide campaign promotes the benefits of composting and the use of finished compost to build healthier soils. The 2026 theme of Compost! Feed the Soil that Feeds Us, which highlights the vital role of compost in sustaining life on land and producing healthy food.
