Lo-Fi prototyping

Building the Radical Hope Machine| 11 Apr-14 Apr | 2 sessions

Calling creative kids! Be a part of Horizon 2025 and turn your ideas into a physical prototype of the Radical Hope Machine using low-tech materials. Through a mix of science fiction and real-world examples, we’ll explore how imaginative ideas can spark real-world change.

Build a physical model of your imagined machine with materials like cardboard, string, foil, paper, paint, and recyclables. Then using devices with LiDAR scanners, create detailed 3D scans of your model. Transform your ideas into polished graphics with animation, ensuring they’re exhibition ready!

Free. Registration essential. All materials provided.

Ages 6 – 11 years.

Radical Hope Machine is presented by Horizon in partnership with Sunshine Coast Libraries.
