Explore how to save vegetables and fruits like cucumbers, onions, and carrots that can be transformed into tangy, probiotic-rich treats. Taste-test fresh kraut and see how to “crack the cabbage” and understand the key steps for optimal fermenting.
Discover the art of lacto-fermentation using a salt brine. Sample a brine ferment and learn the method step by step. Take home recipes and easy composting techniques for kitchen scraps that works for any garden size. Supported by council’s Waste Education team for Love Food Hate Waste program.
