Join the Heritage Library team and discover the beauty of wildflowers through acrylic painting. Follow a step-by-step approach inspired by the drawings and paintings of renowned Sunshine Coast conservationist, Kathleen McArthur. Explore a selection of her artwork, learn about her life and create your own piece. No experience necessary!
BYO paint apron. Brushes and paint provided.
$15 per person. Registration essential. Ages 16 and over.

More about Kathleen McArthur
Kathleen McArthur was a beloved Australian naturalist, writer, botanical illustrator, and conservationist. She campaigned to preserve landscapes threatened by economic development. She advocated to preserve locations including the Pumicestone Passage, Great Barrier Reef, Sunshine Coast beaches, and the Cooloola National Park in the 1960s and 1970s.
