Information about when and where you can access the free JP service

Justice of the Peace

A free JP Service is available in selected libraries.

To use the service, customers must:

  • Observe physical distancing
  • Supply your own pen
  • Bring all required documentation (JPs are not able to assist with photocopying)

Masks are recommended whenever physical distancing is not possible.

Customers who need to have Enduring Power of Attorney (EPA) or Advanced Health Directive documents witnessed should see a JP at the local Courthouse. Search for after-hours JP availability.
