The family history collection is located in Nambour and Caloundra Libraries. For a complete list of items, browse the genealogy collection. Primary records and indexes are on CD-ROM, microfiche and microfilm.

Topics include:

  • Birth, death and marriage indexes for all Australian states

  • Convict indents
  • Monumental inscriptions
  • Land records
  • Probate indexes
  • Post office directories.

While the emphasis is on Australian content, some overseas records are available, mainly on CD-ROM.

Ancestry.com is a leading family history and genealogy website. Users can research census records, immigration and military records, family histories and historical maps.
