Makerspace workshop series

Discover special hands-on craft, art, fashion and cooking skills

Libraries are a physical and virtual playground – perfect for trying, testing and learning new things!

Dive into the Makerspace series to discover special hands-on craft, art, fashion and cooking skills. Learn a new skill while being guided by an expert facilitator. There are five Makerspace workshop series to choose from and they are all free to attend.

Each workshop series takes place once a week for four weeks at Beerwah Heart, with the exception of Natural Dye which is a two-day course.

Proudly funded and supported by the Queensland Government and State Library of Queensland.

Sunshine Coast Council acknowledges the Sunshine Coast Country, home of the Kabi Kabi peoples and the Jinibara peoples, the Traditional Custodians, whose lands and waters we all now share.
