Build a frog hotel
Checking in our tiny frog friends | 6 Dec | Library+ Caloundra
Get hands-on to build your very own frog hotel with Trevor Morrison from ECOllaboration. Work with materials like soil, native plants, pebbles and rocks, solar lights, pipe connectors, bamboo and 50cm diameter pots. Learn how to use the Frog ID app from Australian Museum to learn and record frog calls. Find out how frog bogs and ponds may work well in your backyard. Take home your creation to share with our tiny frog friends.
All materials provided.
$35 per person. Registration essential. Ages 16 and over.
Note that the finished product from this workshop may be heavy or bulky to lift. For your safety and convenience, trolleys will be provided to assist with transport to the venue loading bay if required. If you anticipate needing assistance, don’t hesitate to speak with the facilitator on the day.
