As a child I had a passion for native freshwater fish and aquatic life. I have spent over 50 years paddling around in creeks from Brisbane to Cape York. My wife encouraged me to pass on my knowledge in the form of a children's book.

It's a story of freshwater fish and creatures that experience dumping of unwanted material into their environment. It highlights that freshwater fish whilst not as colourful as their saltwater cousins play an important role in our ecosystems. Fresh clean water is essential for virtually all life in our planet.
