COVID-19 update

Customers are required to act on the advice of library staff, observe physical distancing and practice good hygiene. Masks are recommended whenever physical distancing is not possible.

Closures and cancellations

With COVID-19 now an everyday part of life, library staff and customers may be exposed to the virus. This means Council may need to close some library locations, reduce opening hours or cancel events at short notice due to public health requirements or unavoidable staff shortages. Updates on closures or service changes will be posted on the Libraries website and Facebook page.

Visit library locations, access the eLibrary 24/7, download the myLibrary on-the-go app, or access the Click & Collect service online.

Sunshine Coast Council acknowledges the Sunshine Coast Country, home of the Kabi Kabi peoples and the Jinibara peoples, the Traditional Custodians, whose lands and waters we all now share.
We commit to working in partnership with the Traditional Custodians and the broader First Nations (Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander) community to support self-determination through economic and community development.
