Grab some friends and book your tickets to enjoy a daytime screening of classic Australian film Muriel’s Wedding at the Strand Cinema Caloundra on Tuesday 18 October.

Tickets are $10 per person with complimentary choc-top ice-cream provided. Doors open at 9.30am for a 10am movie start. 

Muriel's Wedding is a 1994 Australian comedy-drama film written and directed by P.J. Hogan. The film, which stars Toni Collette, Rachel Griffiths, Jeanie Drynan, Sophie Lee, and Bill Hunter, focuses on the socially awkward Muriel whose ambition is to have a glamorous wedding and improve her personal life by moving from her dead-end hometown, the fictional Porpoise Spit, to Sydney. 

Muriel’s Wedding is a much-loved classic Australian film and launched international careers for many of the lead actors.  

This event is part of Libraries Celebrate Seniors Month program.
