Jenni Muche is a local fibre artist from the Sunshine Coast. She has always been attracted to discarded things deemed not worthy of notice or use. Her materials are often found when out and about in the environment. These materials take time and energy to be ready for weaving. The process may involve cleaning, pulling apart rope or nets from the beach or undoing electrical cord. Jenni also gathers, dries, and reinvigorates natural fibre. She uses the material's unique nature to inspire her designs.
