Midnight Cross

A collection of Manga Art works

Midnight Cross is a 19 year old local artist who specialises in the traditional medium. Midnight has been developing her unique drawing style since the age of ten when she watched her first anime and fell in love with the amazing artistic culture. Midnight uses pens and ink to illustrate simple but whimsical characters in fantasy settings.

Midnight runs a Youtube channel where she uploads videos and tutorials on a regular basis. She shares her finished drawings with viewers on her Facebook, Instagram and DeviantArt accounts.

In 2015 Midnight's artwork was displayed in the Caboolture Art Gallery Anime Arcade. Midnight has won various competitions in story writing and animation including the Sunshine Coast Literacy Association Young Adult Short Story Award in 2014, and the Moreton Bay Regional Council MashItUp competition in 2013 for her animated short film Crystal Wishes

Currently, Midnight is developing her own single volume manga titled Having Faith which she hopes to have published later this year.

Midnight is thrilled this display of original anime illustrations and she hopes visitors to the library enjoy them as much as she enjoyed creating them.
