Judi Parkinson Trees Exhibition

Judi Parkinson is a multi-media artist who uses photography and videography to create therapeutic storytelling images for use in the care industry. This includes Dementia Specific Units, Therapists and Home Carers.

In this exhibition Judi uses oil paints to explore the strength and harmony of trees and nature in her garden and local landscapes from Flaxton and Landsborough to Harper Creek.

These paintings are worked from her own watercolours, sketches and photographs; resources created at early morning and late afternoon en plein air trips. The lower sun provides the opportunity to capture the effects of light through the trees and across the scene.

Judi finds that escaping to the quieter, secluded and lesser known landscapes in our area allows for a first-time impression and a personal experience with the environment.
