Carrie Davies
Carrie Davies describes her work as cathartic, taking her to a place of calm where she feels very much in her own world.  Carrie has won many awards for her paintings, winning her first prize at the age of seven.

The strong abstract images featured in the exhibition came about last year when Carrie was attempting to cover over old work in an attempt to prevent more land fill.

Painting has always been a major part of Carrie’s life.  A turning point in her career was during the eighties, when she completed an Associate Diploma in Creative Art.  Teaching others, with some going on to win prizes, has been a career highlight.
