Learn to watercolour

Talent you did not know you had

Watercolour painting is a distinct style. Luminous and translucent, its beauty captures many an admirer. It is an exciting style to learn with its instant impression and quick drying process. All you need is a painting medium - usually paper, a brush, some paints and of course water.

As one of the oldest mediums in the artworld, watercolour has many famous works. One of the most famous is Young Hare, created by German painter Albrecht Dürer (1502) and housed in Albertina in Vienna. Famous watercolour artists include Australia's very own Albert Namatjira, David van Nunen and Margaret Olley.

As the spring light amplifies nature’s beauty, learn a new artistic skill with watercolour.
