Frequently asked questions

The click and collect service will continue to be available during the libraries limited opening for you to request a selection of items online. You will be notified when they are available to collect.

The service is only available for current Sunshine Coast Libraries card holders. 


There is no charge for the click and collect service.

Complete the click and collect form for each library member in your family and library staff will select up to 10 items per card. If you currently have reservations available, they can be included in your loans.

Staff will notify you by email or phone when you are able to pick up your items. This is a minimum contact service. 

If you are in mandatory quarantine or currently feeling unwell, please delay your collection or returns until later.

Contact library staff on (07) 5475 8989 if you are unable to pick up your items. If the library does not hear from you within 24 hours of your pick up time the items will be returned to the collection. Your reservations will also be returned, and you will have to reserve them again.

Yes. Returns chutes are open at all branches. Remember to bring your library card to use the barcode to open the chute.


Sunshine Coast Libraries are following health recommendations regarding quarantining items after they are returned. This is to reduce the risk to library staff and customers. Once quarantine is completed, library staff will return the items from your card.

Home delivery is available for vulnerable persons. Refer to the Home Library Service.


Reservations can be placed as normal, however the items may not be available in time for your click and collect order.
