On Sunday 5 June, the United Nations celebrates World Environment Day (WED) – the world’s most important day for encouraging worldwide awareness and action for the protection of our environment. Since it began in 1974, it has grown to become a global platform for public outreach that is widely celebrated in over 100 countries.
This year’s WED theme #OnlyOneEarth. Let’s take care of it, is a great opportunity to educate ourselves on how we can look after our planet.
