Bertha and bear

Bertha and Bear is a heart-warming story of a bee named Bertha who is sent in search of a new home. She finds hope and kindness in the most unlikely of characters, a friendly bear. The story, written by Christine Sharp, is a delightful, rhyming romp that, like Bertha’s honey, is too sweet to miss. Published by University of Queensland Press in 2017, Bertha and Bear is a beautifully illustrated tale of friendship and courage.

The book’s author Christine Sharp is a writer and illustrator who has worked in the creative industries for 25 years.
