Nambour Chronicle
Digital "Nambour Chronicle" 1903 - 1955 - the only historical Australian newspaper available on the internet.
For 80 years the "Nambour Chronicle & North Coast Advertiser" recorded and photographed local news, social, sporting and business activities, and presented local opinions and notices for the area we now know as the Sunshine Coast (formerly the "North Coast").
The Nambour Chronicle is the only primary record which affords a glimpse of past life in an area which has changed dramatically. Maroochy and Caloundra libraries, in partnership with the State Library of Queensland, digitised the "Nambour Chronicle" in 2006 and in an Australian first, made it available on the Internet in January 2008.
You can search the entire newspaper by keyword or issue date and can print directly from the paper, providing easy and convenient access to this valuable historical newspaper resource.
