Adult Literacy

Sunshine Coast Libraries offers free literacy programs to adults to assist them to become functionally literate by helping with reading, writing and basic computer skills.

Classes and One-on-one Tutoring

For people having difficulty with speaking, reading and writing English, spaces are available for eligible participants in classes and one-on-one with volunteer tutors across the Sunshine Coast (Caloundra, Beerwah, Maleny, Kawana, Noosa and Cooroy libraries). For more information, contact the Adult Literacy Coordinator at Caloundra Library, phone (07) 5499 5414 or email . At the moment, places are particularly available at Maleny Library.

Caloundra, Cooroy, Maroochydore and Noosa Libraries currently offer weekly conversational English classes, for people with English as a second language (ESL).

Road to IELTS (International English Language Testing System)
Online exam preparation covering reading, writing, listening and speaking modules.

Become an adult literacy tutor
