Heritage Library
The Heritage Library at Nambour is located on Level 2 of Nambour Library and houses an extensive collection of historical and current materials relating to the development of the Sunshine Coast. The collection includes books, photographs, maps, newspaper cuttings, magazines, CD-ROMs, videos, DVDs, pamphlets and oral histories. In Kawana Library, the Local Studies Heritage Image Collection houses over 2,000 indexed historically significant photographs, dating from 1870 to the present, depicting the people, places, buildings and events of the towns within Caloundra region.
Noosa Library holds a range of physical and digital resources relating to the Noosa region’s history and heritage, including books, reports, oral histories and a digital photo collection.
Smaller local studies collections, relevant to specific areas, can be accessed at Beerwah, Coolum, Caloundra, Kenilworth, Maleny, and Maroochydore libraries.
