LOCAL STUDIES AND FAMILY HISTORY MONTH

Who’s Your Daddy?

Following on from Australian Heritage Week, Sunshine Coast Libraries are celebrating May as Local Studies and Family History Month.

Have you encountered the television ads for Ancestry.com where everyday people like yourself discover they are related to Genghis Khan (16 million descendants living today)?

Would you like a famous ancestor?

Visit any Sunshine Coast Library to access Ancestry.com for free. Once hooked, and you will be, you can then make use of our Genealogy collection at branches in Nambour, Caloundra, Noosa and Maroochydore.

Experienced volunteers provide free assistance in the branches listed above at varying times.

Check out our website http://library.sunshinecoast.qld.gov.au/sitePage.cfm?code=genealogy or contact your branch for more details.
